Adrian Joseph Romo Memorial Scholarship

The Adrian Joseph Romo Memorial Scholarship was established in 2020 to honor the life of Adrian Romo. Adrian was deeply connected to ITEPP and is remembered by his peers as a humble and caring leader in that space and across campus. Funds support current ITEPP students at Cal Poly Humboldt who share this connection and are actively involved in the community.

His family hopes to extend Adrian’s deep, life-long desire to help others and support his community through this scholarship, thereby assisting students in successfully completing their degree while they actively participate in ITEPP.

  • A current Cal Poly Humboldt undergraduate or graduate student, who will be attending the coming year as well.
  • Must be a Native Indigenous student enrolled in ITEPP/ Native American Center for Academic Excellence for a minimum of one year
  • Must display qualities of leadership and significant involvement with building and supporting the ITEPP student community
  • Demonstrate financial need

Students chosen for support will receive at least $500 in financial support.
