The Humboldt Area Foundation offers an online scholarship application which has over 115 scholarship opportunities. The online scholarship application will become available on January 15, 2015. The deadline for submissions is March 16, 2015 at 5 p.m.

The 2015 Henri and Lanette Rousseau Memorial Scholarship Applications are now available! The deadline is April 1, 2015.
The Henri and Lanette Rousseau Memorial Scholarship was established by the late Lanette Rousseau to provide educational opportunities for graduates from Humboldt County High Schools to pursue a field of Agriculture, Science, Education or Vocational Education. Henri and Lanette Rousseau were life long members of the Farm Bureau and both were active on the Board of Directors. In l996, the Rousseau Estate provided a partnership between the Humboldt Area Foundation and the Humboldt County Farm Bureau for this scholarship program. Scholarships range in size from $400 to $1,200 and may be reapplied for annually.

The Albert & Irene Benzinger Memorial Scholarship Fund established by the Benzinger family, will recognize students eligible for membership in the Humboldt Pioneers Society who are graduates of Eureka High School and majoring or prepared to major in a field related to electronics or architecture.
The Arcata Odd Fellows Scholarship Fund was established to memorialize and continue the Odd Fellows' commitment to the Arcata community. Scholarships are for Arcata and McKinleyville High School graduates continuing their education at a community college or university and majoring in history.
The CA Faculty Association Scholarship Fund was established by the Humboldt Chapter of the California Faculty Association to provide scholarships for relatives of union members. The scholarships are for dependent children or relatives of an active faculty/lecturer/coach of Humboldt State University.
The Roelofs Humboldt Fisheries Fund was established by Dr. Terry Roelofs, Emeritus Professor of Fisheries Biology at Humboldt State University.The goal of the fund is to provide scholarships for students in the Fisheries Department at HSU that are pursuing an advanced degree with a focus on fisheries conservation and enhancement research that applies to or is in North Coast watersheds and adjacent marine waters.
