workshops and events

NorCAN has put our regular programming on hold to focus our efforts on pandemic response during the surge. As a program of Humboldt Area Foundation, we are supporting leaders and organizations in a more targeted way, with an emphasis on those working with communities that are particularly vulnerable to the devastations of COVID-19, through direct grant support and capacity building.

NorCAN will continue to send out a weekly update through the NorCAN listserv with pandemic-related information for nonprofits, as well as trainings and resources to support you during this difficult time on issues of governance, leadership and management.  Visit our Email List page for more information about the listserv and how to subscribe. The NorCAN, Cascadia, and HAF websites also have a lot of information we’ve curated to support you. Please let us know if you’re not finding what you’re looking for.

Please contact staff member Amy Jester if your organization is serving vulnerable communities through the pandemic and you’d like to see how HAF or NorCAN might be a resource –amyj@hafoundation.org or 707.267.8984

Thank you for your understanding. We’re in this together.
