Community Grant Funding Available

Organizations committed to improving the lives of people in Humboldt, Del Norte, Trinity and/or Curry counties are invited to apply for the Humboldt Area Foundation’s Community Grant Program by Monday, Feb. 3, 2020. The program responds to pressing community-identified needs and prioritizes applicants who make use of collaborative relationships and partners as well as integrate and promote leadership skill development for youth and residents.

“Humboldt Area Foundation believes in communities where everyone has access and opportunity, where everyone feels that they belong, and where residents work together to craft and implement solutions to local challenges,” says Sara Dronkers, the foundation’s director of grantmaking and nonprofit resources. “Our Community Grant Program is one way we support that goal.”
