In keeping with its mission, NorCAN will be presenting its annual Nonprofit Leadership and Friend of Nonprofits Awards. 2008 marks NorCAN’s fifth year to present the Nonprofit Leadership ward to one of our local community leaders who exemplifies the willingness to give of themselves and a commitment towards a healthy and strong north coast. Along side the leadership award NorCAN will present its first ever Friend of Nonprofits Award, which recognizes the ongoing contributions a for-profit makes towards the well being of our community through partnerships and collaborations with nonprofit organizations.

This year’s honorees are Patrick Cleary, Owner of Lost Coast Communications and active board or committee member of several nonprofit organizations in Humboldt County, for the Nonprofit Leadership Award and the Humboldt Association of Realtors for Friend of Nonprofits Award.

Please join us at the Red Lion Inn in Eureka for hors d’oeuvres music, and lively conversation!
