Description: Faith in Violence-Free Families: Building Partnerships for Change. A Workshop for Faith Leaders and Domestic Violence Prevention Advocates. This workshop will focus on fostering collaborative relationships between faith leaders and domestic violence prevention advocates while discussing strategies for combining efforts and expertise to better serve our communities. Discussions will include prevention strategies, steps for community collaboration, and sharing the expertise and experience of participants. This workshop fosters a peer-to-peer learning environment, offering time for safe and honest dialogue, as well as for sharing promising practices with each other. Participants will take home a tool for developing a concrete plan to collaborate with community partners to address domestic violence.
