Application Process
Prior to applying for TAP, Nonprofits should contact the consultant of their choice to discuss their needs.  If you need a list of qualified consultants to choose from, please ask Resource Center Staff.  Please submit a proposal from the consultant you plan to work with including expected hours, rate and scope of work.


Applications are not currently being accepted for TAP. We will resume accepting proposals in October 2010.

TAP selections will be made through a competitive process.  Grants may be awarded to:

  • Organizations providing safety net services, including services to vulnerable populations
  • Organizations whose services impact large numbers of people locally
  • Organizations at or near a crisis point in their sustainability 


Areas of assistance covered by TAP may include (but are not limited to):

  • Strategic planning   
  • Board development   
  • Fundraising planning
  • Operational assessments   
  • Collaboration building   
  • Executive coaching
  • Personnel issues   
  • Financial management
  • Succession planning
  • Exit strategy planning

We encourage applicants to discuss their technical assistance needs with Resource Center Staff before submitting an application.  TAP will not fund activities commencing prior to award approval.
