Strengthening our communities

Be a part of the good work in our region.

We connect generous donors to energized community members and organizations. We bring people together to solve common problems. We listen to you and identify our changing community needs. Your story is our story. We're here to stay.

Register online by Friday, March 17.

Brought to you by Wild Rivers Community Foundation, with support from The California Endowment and Northern California Association of Nonprofits (NORCAN). Click here for more events and training opportunities from NORCAN.

To be effective, nonprofits must recruit board members who support their ideals, represent the diversity of the community, bring a wide range of skills, and can help chart the organization’s path to success.

This workshop covers:
- Measuring success and sustainability for your organization
- How boards change as organizations grow and change
- Finding and filling the gaps on your board
- Creating and using a board “job description”
- Financial Management 101 for board members
- Training and motivating your board to raise money
